Zombie Bride has been adapted into a short film that is one of nine short films included in "Drac Von Stoller presents Horrifying Tales From The Dead," available on Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, Midnight Pulp Channel, and Cineverse. Johnny and his new bride Marie were so excited that the wedding bells were going to ring at seven pm that night and couldn’t wait to arrive at their honeymoon destination after the wedding, but their wedding bliss was about to turn into wedding sadness. After the wedding was over and the two newlyweds got into their car heading to the airport to their honeymoon destination it started raining and lightning causing Johnny’s visibility of the road very difficult to judge the center lines, but the two newlyweds were too in love and not really paying close attention to their surroundings. Marie sat close to Johnny sharing kisses together as their car barreled down the road. The moment their lips touched another car on the other side of the road lost control and hit their head causing Johnny’s bride to be ejected from the car because she wasn’t buckled in her seat. Marie went head first through their car's windshield and passed through the windshield of the other car that hit her head killing her instantly. Johnny jumped out of his car in hopes his beautiful bride was still alive.

In the past decade, our rapidly changing world faced terrorism, global epidemics, economic and social strife, new communication technologies, immigration, and climate change to name a few. These fears and tensions reflect an evermore-interconnected global environment where increased mobility of people, technologies, and disease have produced great social, political, and economical uncertainty. The essays in this collection examine how monstrosity has been used to manage these rising fears and tensions. Analyzing popular films and televisions shows, such as True Blood, Twilight, Paranormal Activity, District 9, Battlestar Galactica, and Avatar, it argues that monstrous narratives of the past decade have become omnipresent specifically because they represent collective social anxieties over resisting and embracing change in the 21st century. The first comprehensive text that uses monstrosity not just as a metaphor for change, but rather a necessary condition through which change is lived and experienced in the 21st century, this approach introduces a different perspective toward the study of monstrosity in culture.

Producing Women examines the ways femininity is produced through new media. Michele White considers how women are constructed, produce themselves as subjects, form vital production cultures on sites like Etsy, and deploy technological processes to reshape their identities and digital characteristics. She studies the means through which women market traditional female roles, are viewed, and produce and restructure their gendered, raced, eroticized, and sexual identities. Incorporating a range of examples across numerous forms of media—including trash the dress wedding photography, Internet how-to instructions about zombie walk brides, nail polish blogging, DIY crafting, and reborn doll production—Producing Women elucidates women’s production cultures online, and the ways that individuals can critically study and engage with these practices.

Trying to cut corners, a mortuary owner uses surplus bio-hazard material to embalm a recently deceased bride, who rises from the dead and begins killing other brides, creating a city filled with zombie brides.Mr. Gregory is an unscrupulous mortuary owner, who has discovered that using surplus biohazard material, obtained on the black market works just as well as expensive embalming fluid. Mister Gregory has just witnessed the sad funeral service for a young bride, Emilee, who died just before her wedding day, but was destined to be buried in her expensive, designer wedding gown. Seeing that the bride is wearing an expensive, designer wedding gown and knowing that she's going to cremated anyway, removes the gown and sells it to Sarah, an operator of a wedding shop. Sarah notices a small stain on the inside of the gown, which came from the embalming liquids. Sarah dismisses the stain and is just getting ready to put a price tag on it, when Jordyn walks in, with her groom-to-be, Seth. Jordyn immediately recognizes the gown as expensive and convinces Seth to buy it. On the day of their wedding, Jordyn begins to feel sick. As Seth carries Jordyn into their hotel suite, Jordyn comments that she's really feeling sick. Seth lets Jordyn take a nap, but then when he goes and touches her, she begins to moan, with Seth believing that the honeymoon has started. As Seth becomes more passionate, he chances a look at Jordyn and jerks back, realizing that she's dead. Seth is heartbroken, as he looks down at Jordyn in her casket, then returns home, sinking into a deep depression. Meanwhile, Mr. Gregory removes the dress, giving it back to Sarah, and selling Jordyn's body to a back alley medical school, as a cadaver. When Seth returns to the mortuary, wanting Mister Gregory to cremate Jordyn, so he can have her with him forever, Mister Gregory provides Seth with an urn, containing the ashes of Emilee. Distraught, Seth's best friend, Tommy, comes up with the idea of having a voodoo witch doctor bring Jordyn back to life. reluctant, Seth agrees, with the witch doctor providing a magic potion, which Seth and Tommy pour into the urn. As smoke erupts, a bare leg appears and then a second, with Seth believing that it has worked. As they look at the face, they realize that it's not Jordyn, but Emilee. Meanwhile, as medical students are starting to cut into Jordyn's cadaver, she gets up and walks out of the school. Jordyn begins killing new brides, as Emilee also begins killing brides, with the victims becoming zombies. After witnessing several brides being killed, Seth and Tommy begin a race to stop Jordyn. When Seth and Tommy believe that things can't get worse, they realize that there's a Bridal Convention, with plenty of victims for Jordyn.
