God created you just way He wants you to be, and He loves you. But "Like sheep, we have all wondered away." (Isaiah 53:6, Genesis 1:31, John 16:27)God wants you to return to Him. And this invitation is open to anyone, (whosoever) no matter what they have done in the past.Rom 10:11, "For the Scripture says, "Whosoever is trusting on Him will not be put to shame."" (Isaiah 28:16, John 3:16)The only thing He requires of you, up front, is to recognize your need for God, and His solution.Matthew 5:3, "Happy are those who recognize that they are spiritually deficient, because that is the first step to the Kingdom of Heaven."If you don't think you have a problem, you will not come to God for His solution. (Mat 9:12)What did Yeshua* teach and model to His disciples?Yeshua gathered 12 disciples and instructed them for 3 years. (Mt 4:19, 8:22, 9:9 16:24, 19:21, etc.) During the first year He traveled with them personally instructing them primarily by example. They in turn were sent out in 6 teams of twos to disciple others. (Mt 10, Mark 6:7) Later there were 72 disciples, which is exactly 6 new congregations of 12 disciples. (Luke 10:1) They were to multiply using the pattern, or path, that Yeshua taught them. (Philip 3:16) Yeshua said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all Gentiles, immersing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to guard everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always." (Mt 28:18-20) This booklet shares the Path of Yeshua in its most basic form. His Path is taken from the Scripture, mostly Paul's Letters and is very different from the modern church or synagogue model. This book covers Romans through Timothy, which takes you up to Apostle Level, the same stuff that Yeshua taught His Disciples to transform them into Apostles.

How can we transmit a living, personal Catholic faith to future generations? By coming to know Jesus Christ, and following him as his disciples. These are times of immense challenge and immense opportunity for the Catholic Church. Consider these statistics for the United States. Only 30 percent of Americans who were raised Catholic are still practicing. Fully 10 percent of all adults in America are ex-Catholics. The number of marriages celebrated in the Church decreased dramatically, by nearly 60 percent, between 1972 and 2010. Only 60 percent of Catholics believe in a personal God. If the Church is to reverse these trends, the evangelizers must first be evangelized-in other words, Catholics-in-the-pew must make a conscious choice to know and follow Jesus before they can draw others to him. This work of discipleship lies at the heart of Forming Intentional Disciples, a book designed to help Church leaders, parish staff and all Catholics transform parish life from within. Drawing upon her fifteen years of experience with the Catherine of Siena Institute, Sherry Weddell leads readers through steps that will help Catholics enter more deeply into a relationship with God and the river of apostolic creativity, charisms, and vocation that flow from that relationship for the sake of the Church and the world. Learn about the five thresholds of postmodern conversion, how to open a conversation about faith and belief, how to ask thought-provoking questions and establish an atmosphere of trust, when to tell the Great Story of Jesus, how to help someone respond to God's call to intentional discipleship, and much more. And be prepared for conversion because when life at the parish level changes, the life of the whole Church will change.

Jesus must be our model for ministry. Sounds obvious, right? Or is it? Jesus, in all His humanity (and all His divinity) shows us the best possible way to live. Through the way He lived, He modeled the priorities of how to multiply “much fruit.” Following Jesus' example, His disciples then changed the course of history. How then can we follow Jesus’ example? We must study His life. How did Jesus pray? In what types of relationships did He invest? Where were His priorities? Can my priorities be His priorities? Can I walk like He walked? What we do with Jesus MATTERS. Global ministry trainer Dann Spader practically and helpfully walks us through 10 weeks of exciting, ministry-altering study to really begin to walk as Jesus walked.

Scripture makes it clear that when a person receives Christ as Savior and Lord, he or she is a new creation; the old is literally gone, and something entirely new has taken its place. Accepting Jesus' call to discipleship represents a foundational change in a disciple's identity, meaning, and purpose-as well as the way a disciple understands the world. The Call answers the question "Who am I as a disciple of Christ?" It begins by exploring who Jesus really is before walking through the priorities of a disciple, the cost of a disciple, and the fruit of a disciple. Far too often we neglect to teach that following Christ is costly. True discipleship could end up costing everything, but it is worth that and more. Like all the releases in the Disciples Path series. The Call uses teaching, questions, conversation, exercise, and individual study to facilitate transformational discipleship. As you work through this story, you will: Gain a greater understanding of discipleship by examining the way Jesus discipled. Understand the lordship of Jesus and a greater sense of identity in Christ. Realize how a disciple interacts with and responds to the world. Learn key biblical passages addressing what it means to follow Jesus. Know the cost and true value of following Jesus. Disciples Path is a series of resources founded on Jesus' model of discipleship. Created by experienced disciple-makers across the nation, it offers an intentional pathway for transformation discipleship and a way to help followers of Christ move from new disciples to mature disciple-makers. Make discipling culturally relevant. Christians who serve Jesus among people from a different culture than their own often struggle to find a good way to disciple people. Walking Together on the Jesus Road addresses this need by guiding readers through three essential practices for making disciples across cultures: listening to disciples to get to know them and their context, focusing on relationships with Christ, fellow disciples, and others, and enabling disciples to live out their faith in culturally relevant ways. These practices are the foundation for the long-term, intentional process of helping disciples from other cultures become more like Jesus. The book also engages with practical challenges, such as enabling disciples to find and belong to a nurturing community of faith, as well as contextualizing the way we teach the Bible.
