The paintings of William Savage are housed in the museum collections of the State Historical Society of Iowa, Des Moines. The Thomas H. Kent collection on William Savage [MS2001.20], located in the manuscripts collections of the State Historical Society of Iowa (Des Moines and Iowa City), contains Kent's annotations, indexing, and photographic reproductions of the Savage diaries and paintings.
