Paper 2: Procedures used for widening and re-enforcing structurally inadequate asphaltic concrete pavements are illustrated. Paper 3: Old and bumpy pavements, both asphalt and concrete, can in many instances be rehabilitated to serve present traffic needs by means of a one-layer, two-layer, or multiple-layer resurfacing of asphalt concrete.
