"Forster and Marston have delivered a stellar book that attempts to present an exegetical and Scriptural framework for the content presented in the book. Instead of beginning from a set of deductive theological assumptions and then attempting to support that system from Scripture, Forster and Marston examine Scripture and attempt to build their case directly from the text. The authors unabashedly admit that their views are very similar to those of Arminian and Weslyan traditions, but they state in the beginning of the book that they do not want to be labeled with these names, but want to construct a theology that is in line with the teachings of the first 300 years of Christianity. Anyone who reads their appendix will come to understand that the teachings presented in this book were the orthodox consensus of the early Church for the first 300 years, and that it was Augustine who introduced serious deviations into the mainstream orthodox Christianity of his time. Forster and Marston begin by describing the battle that is being waged between God and the spiritual forces that oppose Him. They examine the book of Job and see how this relates to the overall struggle. Then the authors examine the 9th chapter of Romans to see if this book is dealing with election and individual destinies, or God's actions within human history. The authors do an excellent job of arguing for their opinion that this chapter is speaking about God's involvement in human history and it deals with God's choosing of one nation or individual over another nation or individual to accomplish His purpose. Other sections of interest in this book are the sections on foreknowledge and predestination and the chapters on faith and works. The section on faith and works was particularly interesting because it relies on much of the teaching of the new perspective which has shed much light on how a 1st century Palestinian Jew would have approached Scriptural issues. The research, argumenation, and exegesis in this book are solid so every chapter is excellent, but the ones mentioned above were two of my favorites."--Amazon.com.

This book ends in a cliff hanger and for full enjoyment readers are strongly advised to read the series in order, continuing the story with The Wrong Stuff, K'Barthan Series: Part 2 (green cover) after reading this one. **** INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHOR Q – What made you write this series? A – If you want the honest answer I wrote it for me. As a reader, I love British satire and humor (or humour). I love wit; funny epic fantasy series like the Discworld novels and comedic sci fi like Douglas Adams. I like sff and speculative fiction, I like adventure and action and a gripping tale that zips along quickly, I like genre mash ups and I love an angsty dystopian world. However, the best science fiction and fantasy stories, for me, are funny. I aim to write comedy in the tradition of all the great humorous British authors. I like to aim high. I wanted protagonists people could love and empathise with, mavericks, misfit characters, real people ... except they're not all people obviously, some of them are other alien (ish) species. This book is about misfit heroes and heroines winning the day, it’s about good versus evil even when the good guys are on different sides. It's dystopian science fiction fantasy action - it's dystopia but it's comedy, it's sci-fi but it's planet-based. You'll find all sorts of quirky characters and interesting alien species: from 6ft Swamp Things with antennae to cute furry creatures like the Blurpons, with their fluffy ears, big button eyes and penchant for extreme violence. The book consists of several topics that I hope the reader will find enlightening. It is a look backwards, in that I tell the audience about the segregated South and a look forward, the place where we must strive to be. Nevertheless, I hope that each individual will enjoy reading my book, which incorporates biography, humor, historical facts, scripture, and religious beliefs. It is not an attack on anyone or any group. It is intended to be an eye-opener in that it deals with several topics that relate to the President including birth, patriotism and religion. Each chapter discusses what I believe is an American peoples concern. Some people might see my book as a book on race relations and to some degree it is, but gently. There are thirteen chapters. In Chapter Five I discuss the forty year prophesy of the coming of Barack Obama; while in Chapter Seven I discuss the struggles of African Americans "then and now," the African American churches, including Rev. Wright, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King (among other things); Chapter Nine, "Forcing Scared Against The President" discusses how the politicians work overtime to portray President Obama illegitimately to the American Public, and Chapter Ten, disputes the assertion that Barack Obama is a radical (Really?); Chapter Eleven, "Will the Real Mr. Speaker Stand," questions the heart of John Boehner and Chapter Twelve, "Guess Who's Coming To The Tea Party" warns the Tea Party that they could very easily become the terror group of the past. Chapter One, "I Saw An Angel" is the foundation for the book and how it all got started.
