The Ministers welcomed it as a "significant pan-European contribution to an international discussion steadily gaining momentum" as well as to the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue. The Ministers emphasised the importance of ensuring appropriate visibility of the White Paper, and called on the Council of Europe and its member states, as well as other relevant stakeholders, to give suitable follow-up to the White Paper's recommendations.
