This book is divided into four parts. The first part about my journey into Angelic Therapy. I have talked about how it all began for me, what did I do, where did I go, the people I met, the workshops I attended, the work that I did to get where I am today as a successful teacher in Angelic Therapy. The second part of this book is about the theoretical tools in Angelic Therapy where I have discussed about Angels, Archangels, Ascended Masters, Fairies, Spirit Guides, and so on and then the third section leads my readers to the use of Angelic Therapy in their day to day lives. I have given some very useful meditations, invocations, some prayers, guidelines on how to do an oracle or angel card reading, so on and so forth. The fourth and final section of this book talks about how a person can get started with their practice and profession as an Angelic Therapy Practitioner.

Someone once said to me 'for an ordinary bloke you have had such an interesting life, you should write a book, it would be a best seller'. I ignored it, but more recently, others have encouraged me and so I decided to give it a go. Initially I expected it to be a series of funny stories linked together with other interesting events of my life, but it has turned out to be more than that. I asked someone to read it before publishing and he described it as "a magical mystery tour of a life where the only things to expect are the unexpected". There's lots of highs and a few potholes too. There's more than a few laughs but also moments of sadness. If you are a regular person with a regular life you'll be able to identify with much that is in here, but if you're expecting the memoirs of Mr Average with his 2.2 children you're going to be surprised. There's nothing that could be described as predictable but then nor will any aspect of it be alien to the experiences of most. It's a life well lived, rich and varied. This book could be about your next door neighbour who turns out to be full of surprises, as indeed it is! I hope you'll find it a fascinating read and one that keeps you entertained from beginning to end, that's the aim.

Step into Advent with this captivating study and devotional, where angelic encounters come to life, echoing the timeless message of overcoming fear. What would you do if you were not afraid? Life can be daunting, filled with uncertainty and fears. It wasn’t any different two thousand years ago when Jesus was born. An aged priest is told he is about to become a father for the first time. A young woman is told she is going to give birth – outside the protection of marriage. A simple carpenter is asked to believe the impossible. A group of shepherds’ night on a hill is interrupted by a bright host of angels in the sky. Yet, each of these encounters begins with the same refrain: do not be afraid. Those words, though, are not just words of comfort; they are an invitation and a calling from God. In this captivating Advent study and devotional, pastor Erin Wathen challenges us to take this timeless message and apply it to our lives today. Calling All Angels asks us to contemplate what would change in our relationships, vocations, congregations, and communities if we have the courage to overcome our fears like Mary, Joseph, Zechariah, and the Shepherds in the story. Included in this book are: Weekly studies perfect for individuals or groups Questions for reflection and discussion Daily reflections Worship resources including liturgies, prayers, and children’s moments An uplifting playlist to accompany you through the Advent season Free videos featuring the author are available online - perfect for beginning weekly studies, sparking meaningful conversations, and deepening your understanding of that week’s story. Step into Advent where stories of angelic encounters come to life, echoing the timeless message of overcoming fear. Just like the characters in the nativity story, we're invited to embrace courage and join in God's transformative work.

Dolly Parton's success as a performer and pop culture phenomenon has overshadowed her achievements as a songwriter. But she sees herself as a songwriter first, and with good reason. Parton's compositions like "I Will Always Love You" and "Jolene" have become American standards with an impact far beyond country music. Lydia R. Hamessley's expert analysis and Parton’s characteristically straightforward input inform this comprehensive look at the process, influences, and themes that have shaped the superstar's songwriting artistry. Hamessley reveals how Parton’s loving, hardscrabble childhood in the Smoky Mountains provided the musical language, rhythms, and memories of old-time music that resonate in so many of her songs. Hamessley further provides an understanding of how Parton combines her cultural and musical heritage with an artisan’s sense of craft and design to compose eloquent, painfully honest, and gripping songs about women's lives, poverty, heartbreak, inspiration, and love. Filled with insights on hit songs and less familiar gems, Unlikely Angel covers the full arc of Dolly Parton's career and offers an unprecedented look at the creative force behind the image.

The angel can be viewed as a signal reference to modernist attempts to accommodate religious languages to self-consciously modern cultures. This book uses the angel to explore the relations between modernist literature and early twentieth-century debates over the secular and/or religious character of the modern age.
