Water Conservation Plan Guidelines PDF Download

The Safe Drinking Water Act, as amended in 1996, requires the EPA to publish guidelines for use by water utilities in preparing a water conservation plan. These WCPG are addressed to water system planners. Use of the Guidelines is not required by Fed. law or regulation. States decide whether or not to require water systems to file conservation plans consistent with these or any other guidelines. This report introduces the Guidelines and provides info. to the States about their nature and possible use. Part 2, written for water systems, is an overview to the org., content, and use of the guidelines. Contains Guidelines: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced.
