This book is about a boy taking the first steps towards being a young man with an independent perspective. It takes place over a two week period on a walkabout with his great uncle. At the same time his parents get to enjoy a break from their parenting and their effort of introducing the boy to the idea of holding an independent perspective. The story takes place several hundred years in the future after humans have once again chosen to spend their future by violently destroying what they have. It is a time when governmental influence is minimal and can be distant if desired. It is a time when Constitutional freedoms can be openly lived on an individual level. The constraining hierarchies of organized religions and an aggressive government with police and military support have been found to be wanting and negative to individual development. The walkabout takes place in the Rocky Mountains of the Western United States and from early to mid-June. Descriptions of the plant and animal life found along the way are from the author's experiences but are not meant to be from one locale. The various thoughts and perspectives of the characters in the book are shared by the author. The future conflicts are not intended to be prophetic in any way as the author thinks humanity's future is fluid and ours to choose. "...correctness, accuracy, truth, whatever you want to call it, is based on the content of what is said, not on who's talking." "Your clear mind will enable you to focus on detail and encompass the breadth of the Earth around you, ultimately causing you to have thoughts and emotions strong enough to add energy to your soul." "Different people do the same things in different ways. Freedom of religion is the concept that embraces different people seeking truth in different ways. If freedom is restricted truth is restricted and fanaticism grows."

Have you ever had experiences that reach beyond time and distance? Walking for Breezes Together chronicles two people who fall in love while learning about their independent perspectives-perspectives created by intentionally choosing the value systems they use to interpret their perceptive feelings. Independent perspectives they grow by exploring the parts of themselves that extend beyond time and distance-parts that include empathy and telepathy. They explore experiences like realizing an unseen person is focusing their attention on them. When you feel like someone is looking at you and you turn around and see that it is true, what has reached out from that person to you that caused you to become aware of them? And how can these experiences be promoted and validated?

Financial ruins and starvation were rampant in the late 1830s. Then the Civil War came in the 1860s. Could a young couple build a life together? Elisha Spencer had spent the last ten years of her life balancing school and preparing for the Miss USA Pageant. Nothing could stop her from taking the crown, until disaster walked into her life. Elisha's coach, Clarence Yates fell to his knees during Elisha's rehearsal. It seemed as though his years of fast-paced pageantry work had finally caught up with him. Distraught, Elisha turns to her best friend and fellow pageant contestant, Luciana for support, only to find that Luciana has been taking prescription sleeping pills to deal with the stress of the pageant and school. Weeks before the pageant, Luciana finds out she didn't get into Juilliard as her parents planned. Unable to handle the pressure, Luciana overdoses on sleeping pills and won't come out of a coma. As Elisha searches for strength, she finds comfort in one of her professors, Eric Turner. Eric steps right in, happily comforting Elisha and even acting as her coach. The relationship quickly grows into a smothering romance. Elisha works to keep it all together, but becomes suspicious of those closest to her. She begins to wonder if Luciana's death was suicide or the perfect crime. And could it have been related to Clarence's death? In this twisted story, A Late Summer's Breeze, Elisha learns some people will do anything for love.
