Through life, we go through a lot of bumpy roads and even dead-end roads, but if we just trust God and live the best we can, this highway of life can be smoother knowing that we are not traveling these highways alone, even though it may seem that way. Someone has to come down this same highway of life, and they made it through with the Lord's guidance.

I hope the poems in this book bring smile, a thought, or an understanding about life in more ways than one. My third book will be a novel and is already in the making and, hopefully, will be out sometime in 2018. The title is complete but will not be revealed until a later time. If you like reading trilogies, I truly hope you enjoy reading this book of poems. My wife, Orelia (Cookie), is, and will always be, my inspiration. And I know that she will be forever grateful for many of the poems included in this book. I also hope you will enjoy reading this book of poems.

Debbie Armstrong has always loved nature and being outdoors. She has worked for over thirty years at Robbins Nursery in Sebring, where here she can enjoy all the beauty of nature, people, and animals and get paid for doing what she loves. Inspiration comes in many forms to her; it could be a conversation, a bird flying overhead, a look in the eye of a customer, or just something as simple as a sound. Mental Exodus - Journey Between the Lines is her second book filled with emotion and inspiration.
