Joshua Cope Drake (1817-1906), son of William Jehiel Drake and Hannah Montross, was born in Long Point Bay, Ontario, Canada, and died in Bangor, Michigan. He married (1) Elizabeth J. Little (1819-1879), daughter of Nathaniel and Ann Little. She was born in Charleston, New York. He married (2) Mary Elizabeth Clark Penrod (b. 1845), daughter of John Marvin and Ann Mary Woodward Clark, in 1879 in Bangor, Michigan. She was born in New York. He had fifteen children.
