Holding the UK representatives at the IMF to account for their actions has been an important role of the Treasury Committee. The Committee welcomes the establishment of the Independent Evaluation Office, and recommends that the Fund continues to make its operations and policies as transparent as possible. Regular meetings will be held with the UK Executive Director, and the Committee welcomes the Government's agreement to publish an annual report on the work of the IMF. Full publication of the Fund's executive board meeting minutes, and of the UK voting record at the IMF, are also recommended.
