Towards the south flows the Zondag's River; towards the east several small streams, which at last unite to form the great Fish River and at the foot of the mountains, on the north side, rises the sea-cow River: this flows after a while into the Orange River; and the latter, subsequent to this union, continues its course for more than a hundred miles, when it falls into the sea on the western coast.
