VI of the Constitution provides that the first act of process is a writ ten communication, signed by the accuser in his own handwriting, preferring charges against the accused. The second step is a summons to the accused by the Secretary of the Society, to appear before the same at its next regu lar meeting, to answer the charges so preferred. The third step is his trial by the Society and if, after being afforded ample opportunity for his defence, he is found guilty, he may be suspended, censured or expelled by a concurrent vote of three-fourths of all the members present.
