There seems to be a great deal of confusion in the called-out governing body about how much to use and depend upon the Old Testament as compared and contrasted with the New Covenant. In Greek, the words are "injunction/prescription."?Constituted = stand up or stood up with.?Enjoined/injunction = join or joined in. ?Prescription = written before.Covenant terminology means an agreement between parties on terms of a compact (covenant). The terms are spelled out, before action by the parties, so both parties understand them, and each other's obligation to perform them.There are five covenants are in effect today. Almighty, Father, Son and Spirit, is maintaining his part in all five. All five are demonstrations of grace and are made complete in the Covenant of Grace. It doesn't matter whether we understand it, agree with it or like it. If we are trying to operate under the Covenant of Law, or a mixture of parts & pieces of the Old and New Covenants, we are out-of-line with Almighty; and we cannot receive his best. It is time to repent [change our minds to the truth]; and get ourselves in agreement with the terms of the New Covenant.
