James Lindly, son of John, was born in 1641 in England and married Alice Walsmith. Their son, James, was born in Ballinclash, Ireland in 1681. He married Elanor Park and they came to America in 1713. He died in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Their son, Thomas, was born in Ireland in 1706 and married Ruth Hadley in New Garden, Pennsylvania in 1731. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Arkansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and elsewhere.

David Thomas (b.ca. 1620) immi- grated, probably from Wales, to Middleboro, Massachusetts before 1649, and moved to Salem (later Beverly), Massachusetts by 1661. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
