Advances made by physicists in understanding matter, space, and time and by astronomers in understanding the universe as a whole have closely intertwined the question being asked about the universe at its two extremesâ€"the very large and the very small. This report identifies 11 key questions that have a good chance to be answered in the next decade. It urges that a new research strategy be created that brings to bear the techniques of both astronomy and sub-atomic physics in a cross-disciplinary way to address these questions. The report presents seven recommendations to facilitate the necessary research and development coordination. These recommendations identify key priorities for future scientific projects critical for realizing these scientific opportunities.

A Conceptual Breakthrough in Our Understanding of Fundamental Nature of Matter and Energy!! A lot of questions have bothered science for a long time! What is a photon? Why does light behave both like a particle and a wave? How does light transform into matter? What is gravity? What is Big Bang and what came before it? The list is endless ... Riding on a Ray of Light describes a working model, called the Negentropic Model, which describes the fundamental nature of matter and energy. The negentropic model, formulated as a single theoretical principle based on the current scientific concepts, describes the precise structure of photon along with an explicit mechanism of generation of a light. It also describes the precise nature of matter and its formation in nature along with the intriguing nature of gravity. Alongside, this model explains the underlying meaning of some of the weirdest quantum phenomena such as wave-particle duality. In addition, by proposing the concept of ‘dark protons’, negentropic model allows us to delineate the precise nature of dark matter and dark energy, and this knowledge lets us peep into the depths of black holes to understand their true nature. Basing on these findings, the concept of Big Bang is revised and a brand-new concept of Differential Big Bang proposed! Riding on a Ray of Light presents the most comprehensive model in fundamental physics proposed so for, answering many of the hitherto unanswered questions in particle physics and cosmology, which really helps us to work towards a Theory of Everything !

This book is grounded in Isaac Newton's belief that light could be converted into matter, and matter back into light, which today appears to be true in the way that when electrons are slammed into protons during particle collisions at the Hadron collider in Geneva Switzerland, the electrons split into two new particles which literally become photon's of light! This new knowledge could be used to create anti viruses out of photon's, and more, and even eradicate every disease known to humankind.Chapter one establishes an alleged more accurate model of the photon, and a new theory stating that gravity comes from light.Chapter two sets forth that gravity is a wave, not a particle such as the god particle, and what the gravitational waves might look like based on the mathematics of kinetic and potential energy, and Newton and Einstein's equations for these forces. The chapter then shows how the gravitational waves correlate exactly with waves of light and that these forces are truly equivalent based on Einstein's energy equivalence law.Chapter three shows that light has mass using the equations for energy of wavelengths of light, (hc/wavelength) and (E/c squared); the mass of a photon of red light for instance is 2.94x10 to the negative 22 kilograms, or roughly a billionth of a billionth of a kilogram. The photons are then thrown into an online Hawking radiation calculator using the mass of a photon from every frequency of the electromagnetic spectrum, and sent into a Hawking black hole to show how when light is collapsed it has the energy/mass equivalence to create black holes, and all other matter in the universe...for that matter!

'Light on Dark Matter', held from 10-14 June 1985 in the Dutch seaside resort of Noordwijk, was the first international conference devoted to the results of the all-sky survey by the US-Dutch-UK Infra-Red Astronomical Satellite (IRAS). As such, it was a hommage to the scientists, engineers and technicians who conceived, built and operated this extremely successful satellite. That this was generally felt to be the case, was proven by the large number of participants (over 200 from seventeen different nations), the li vely discussions, and the great variety of topics presented during the meeting. All this not withstanding a typical Dutch summer: gale-force winds, heavy cloud cover, and meter-high surf crashing onto a beach on which only the hardy ventur. ed. Most participants contented themselves by watching the lonely seagulls patrolling the North Sea coastline through the panoramic windows of the conference center. Parallel to the IRAS Conference, a Workshop on Infrared Properties of Interstellar Grains was organized by J. M. Greenberg of the Leiden Laboratory Astrophysics Group: a busy shuttling of participants between the Workshop room and the Main Conference Hall showed that many found it hard to choose. A large number of people were invol ved in making the Conference a success: in the first place the scientific organizers with their valuable advice and the conference speakers, among which I would like to mention Dr. J. H.
