It has been my aim to compile all the Statutes relating to the General Tax and Assessment Laws of this State, down to and including the year 1880. To arrange this mass of Statutes in some systematic order, has been no easy task. Decisions of the courts have been cited where it was deemed necessary, and also an appendix containing forms.
