When bills are certified to as above, and left with the city clerk before 12 o'clock of the day of meeting of the Committee on Accounts, they will be audited by them, and, if approved, be ready for payment on the Thursday following. Meetings of the Committee, are held on the Thursday next preceding the second Tuesday in each month, at 2 o'clock p. In.
