The Export Credits Guarantee Department Small Exporter Policy PDF Download

The Export Credits Guarantee Department is the UK's official export credit agency. It supports UK exporters to compete effectively in overseas markets where the private sector may be unable to help, and also provides investment insurance for UK-based companies investing overseas. The annual report contains information on: activities to support UK trade and investment throughout the world and within the aerospace and defence markets; work to further international trade policies in relation to sustainable development, debt management and good governance; and the modernisation programme following the Mission and Status Review. During the year, the Agency issued guarantees and insurance policies for UK exporters and investors totalling £5.6 billion, and generated a net contribution to the Treasury of £205 million.
