The Elfin Star Runes: Following the Elf Star to Faerie contains an original elven rune set of 49 runes. It is set up into 7 chapters with 7 runes described and illustrated in each chapter that relate to the elfin magicks that guide us in the spiritual evolution of the elfae peoples - The Magic, Healing, Thaumaturgy, Enchantment, Sorcery, Wizardry, and Witchcraft. These 7 groups of runes relate to an important energy on each of the points of the seven-pointed elven star: with Magic relating to the first point of the star or Will; Healing relating to the second point or Love; Thaumaturgy to the third point or Art; Enchantment to the fourth point or Innovation; Sorcery to the fifth point or Truth; Wizardry to the sixth point or Reflection; and Witchcraft to the seventh point or Celebration. The Elfin Star Runes may be used to assist you in what you need to develop as you progress upon the Elven Way for s'elf development and further awakening to your elven nature. They also may be used as an oracle system to know what the wisdom of the ancient elven has to say to you. We Silver Elves often draw an elfin star rune for further information to accompany our daily spiritual practice of throwing the I-Ching or in a tarot reading about a specific question for which we are in need of guidance. The Elfin Star Runes may also be used for your magic to write words in both English and Arvyndase, the magical language of the Silver Elves, and also in numbers. All 49 runes or sigils for these runes can be laid upon an elven star and will be found to conform to the various lines of the star. Thus, we call them The Elfin Star Runes. The acute angled seven-pointed star, which is often called the faerie star these days, was first associated with we elves and called the elven star by the Elf Queen's Daughters of which we Silver Elves were a part and who first awakened us to our elven nature back in the mid 1970's (for more on this see our books Elf Magic Mail vols. 1 & 2). We continued using the elven star in our own elf letters that we sent out first by snail mail in the late 70s, the 80s and 90s and then later, with the invention of the internet, by email (see our books The Magical Elven Love Letters vols. 1, 2 & 3). We also very commonly and quite often wore elven stars as amulets and still today have them as talismans all over our eald (elven home and demesne). Somewhere, or some when, we don't know exactly but surely in the late 1990's or early 2000's, the faerie community adopted the elf star and started calling it the faerie star. We don't mind, but we do think we elfae folk should know something of our own history and we still reserve the right to refer to it as the Elven Star even if nearly everyone else now calls it the Faerie Star, for it is one and the same. And when you come down to it, all we elves are fae from the Faerie Realm but not all fae are elves ... or faeries for that matter.

On steamy Pryan, never-ending sunlight and plentiful rain have created a jungle so vast that humans and elves dwell high in the trees and only dwarves live anywhere near the ground. From the treetops the aristocratic elves sell weapons to the other races, whose incessant warfare sends a steady steam of profits and essential resources skyward. Now, generations of dissent and race hatred will not heal -- not even under the threat of annihilation at the hands of legendary Titans. Armed with little more than their wits and prophecy, an elf, a human, and a dwarf must unite to try to save the world from destruction.

The Book of Elven Runes contains 40 elfin runes for use as an oracle and as a magical script. These are not based on the Norse runes but are an original system created by the Silver Elves. The book is subtitled A Passage Into Faerie because each rune also advises a Magical Act that the magic wielder can perform to bring hir closer to Faerie. The use of these runes is itself an elfin spell cast in a unique way as each user weaves hir way deeper into the Elfin Realms.

"The Elven Star Oracle" is an original divinatory system created by the Silver Elves invoking the 88 major astrological constellations and the blessings of the Shining Ones for guiding one through the world and ever closer to the realization of Faerie. It is called "The Elven Star Oracle" because it is based upon the seven pointed Elven Star, sometimes called the Faery Star, and the areas between the points, overlaid on the dimensional manifestation of Faerie and the realms that are linked to it.

New York Times bestselling author Stephen R. Donaldson presents the first novel of the four-volume finale to the series that’s become a modern fantasy classic: The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. Thomas Covenant lost everything. Abandoned by his wife and child, sick and alone, he was transported while unconscious to a magical, dreamlike world called the Land. Convinced it was all a delusion, Covenant was christened The Unbeliever by the Land’s inhabitants—but gave his life to save this new-found world he came to regard as precious. Ten years after Covenant’s death, Linden Avery still mourns for her beloved companion. But a violent confrontation with Covenant’s son, who is doing the evil Lord Foul’s bidding, forces her into the Land, where a dark malevolence is about to unmake the laws of nature—and of life and death itself. It is here that she comes upon Esmer, son of the Dancers of the Sea, a creature of strange powers who draws Linden backwards through time to witness Thomas Covenant’s return to life, and to reinvent the mysterious, dangerous, and violent history of the Land.

A plague has ravaged the population of gold dwarves of the Great Rift. It starts slowly, but the progression is devastating. One dwarf has eyes that have become hard and glassy like marbles; a second dwarf has skin that flakes off in sharp, hardened scales; the skeleton of a third is petrified and fused in place; a fourth wastes away with blood that has turned dark and muddy. Clerical magic doesn't help. Neither do herbal remedies, nor spells meant to break curses. And in all cases, death is always the same--the heart blackens, hardens, and eventually stops beating, killing each victim with a heart attack and turning the bodies to stone. It's called the Stoneplague. It's terrifying. And it's spreading.
