The United Nations has made funds available for the work of the Commission, authorizing loans amounting to for the two-year life of the Commission. Present estimates indicate that the Commission will draw approximately 000 against this authorization. In addition, by agreement with unrra, has been transferred to the Interim Commission from that agency for the continuation of certain health func tions in unrra-receiving countries.
