Life's trials and triumphs can seem accidental. One person may feel that life is a constant struggle in which pitfalls abound and someone seems out to get him. Another may feel that every day is a gift from God with special blessings just for her. That's because forces are at work in our lives: the blessings of a loving God or the curses of our spiritual adversary. This hugely popular classic work of Derek Prince helps readers recognize if there are curses at work in their lives and shows them how to get out from under those curses to live under God's blessings. This third edition of Blessing or Curse includes an extensive new study guide for small group or individual use.

You have problems in life. Everybody has problems. There is one initial source for our problems. The sin of Adam. There is also one cure for our problems. The cross of Jesus Christ. Reverse the Curse will show you how Jesus reversed the curse of Adam's sin by going to the cross. It reveals, in faith building detail, how the events of the crucifixion of Jesus reversed every element of Adam and Eve's sinful rebellion to the command of God. Reverse the Curse details Jesus becoming accursed for us so we can be set free from curses, even curses spoken by God. It also reveals the practical outcomes of this spiritual truth. If you can receive it, the message of Reverse the Curse will have a real effect upon you. Where this message has been preached and taught, it has opened eyes and built faith. It has resulted in a fresh release of the power of God to save, heal and deliver. It all comes through the power of the cross. After all, the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God. You will be truly blessed and inspired to dig into the Word of God and know His power in a greater way because of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

THE DEATH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is a subject of never- failing interest to all who study prayerfully the scripture of truth. This is so, not only because the believer's all both for time and eternity depends upon it, but also, because of its transcendent uniqueness. Four words appear to sum up the salient features of this mystery of mysteries: the death of Christ was natural, unnatural, preternatural, and supernatural. The death of Christ was natural. By this we mean that it was a real death. It is because we are so familiar with the fact of it that the above statement appears simple and commonplace, yet, what we here touch upon is to the spiritual mind one of the main elements of wonderment. The one who was "taken, and by wicked hands" crucified and slain was none other than Jehovah's "Fellow". The blood that was shed on the accursed tree was divine - "The church of God which he purchased with his own blood"

The writer of the book of Hebrews wrote, "We must give the most earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away."—Hebrews 1:2. Are we? Are we searching the Scriptures carefully in order to understand God's word, as it applies to us today? Do we know the truth about what Christ did for us on the cross? The doctrine of curses and the need to break them is being taught around the world, to thousands of Christians. But is there any truth to this doctrine? Can a Christian be under a curse? If so, we need to ask, who gave the curses? Did Satan pronounce curses? Has any man ever been given the right to pronounce a curse? Did God give the curses? The most important question is, has any man other than Christ ever been given the authority to break a curse? What is sanctification? What is justification? What is the free gift of righteousness? What do these have to do with the curses that are in the Bible? How many curses were given to Adam for his sin and how do they affect us today? How do the curses under the Law affect us —or do they? Who was the Law with its consequences really given to and why was it given? Was it ever given to the Gentile? What does it mean to be ransomed, to be redeemed? The writer of Hebrews wrote that Christ changed the priesthood and the Law because of necessity. What did he mean by that? What about the blessings that God promises in His word? Who are they for and what do we have to do in order to receive them? The author attempts to answer these questions and many more as he takes the reader, verse by verse, through the Bible, and tells us very plainly what the scriptures actually reveal to us regarding the "Curse and The Cross."

'HISTORICAL FICTION DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS' ANGUS DONALD AD 633 Beobrand is a young man with a shadowy past. As an outsider in the kingdom of Bernicia, he is compelled to join his brother, Octa, as a warrior in the household of King Edwin. He must learn to fight with sword and shield to defend the war-ravaged kingdoms of Northumbria. In a period of great upheaval for Dark Age Britain, all he finds is death and war. Men and women strive to seize control of their destinies in a time of despair, and the land is rife with danger as warlords vie for supremacy and dominion. Amongst the blood and the betrayals, Beobrand learns of his brother's near-certain murder. Inexperienced but ruthless, Beobrand must form his own allegiances and learn to fight as a warrior with sword and shield. Driven by a desire for vengeance and a relentless pursuit of his enemies, he faces challenges which transform him from a boy to a man who stands strong in the clamour and gore of the shieldwall.
