When physicists study the physical world, they are sure that it is expending its resources. I think it is hard for us to predict what the future will be even in the light of the Scriptures. Everywhere there is a breaking down and going to pieces. We read in the Word that the outward man perisheth. It is true that in the physical universe nothing is annihilated, but everywhere there is change. Our political institutions and our standards Of right and wrong are undergoing profound modifications.
