These are followed by medals referring to the Revolutionary War of separation from the mother country, of the por tion that subsequently formed the United States, together with a num ber of the very rare medals relating to the War of 1812, given by Great Britain to her troops who served in America; then another series of a few representative English coins of these periods and of British historical medals and the later coins and medals of Canada to the present time.
