It is unfortunate that traders have had'to face another disruption of trade so soon after the recent disastrous coal strike. But apparently labour troubles are on the incr -ase and strikes will have to be ac cepted as one of the ordinary risks of busi ness. This strike in particular has sadly interfered with the unloading of crude drugs and heavy chemicals and the export business has been practically at a standstill. Importers in ustralia are sure to feel the pinch later on. T present the strike is'in full swing, but there are signs of a weaken ing on the part of the men. And most of the shipping companies are commencing to nu load their boats on a limited scale with non union men.
