The Astrological dynamics of the Universe looks at how the astrological cycles of planets in signs have has a major impact on the Western World since the period of 1970 to 2020. Relating how particular planetary cycles in the last forty years have changed our society can give us an indicator of what to expect and how we will respond over the next eight years. The book includes the natal charts of the UK and the USA with an explanation and predictions. There is also a chapter on how each of the twelve zodiac signs can survive and get the best from the next eight years. The book also looks at aspects, houses and historical and cultural reference points from the past to the present. The book is designed for astrologers and anyone who has a little astrological knowledge can pick up this book. The ethos of the book is to show how astrology works as a collective unconsciousness tool that has a direct bearing on humanity as a whole. The idea for the book came from my regular astrology column in the ‘Watkins Review – Mind Body Spirit’ magazine which has developed quite a cult following with positive feedback. ,

An alchemical approach seeks to release the latent potential which resides within the individual and within the cosmos. There was never any question that the work of the alchemists depended upon a knowledge of the planets and their cycles, since alchemical transformations could only be successful if carried out at the astrologically appropriate times. This book has been steadily fermenting and evolving for over twenty-five years, and as such it represents a true alchemical process. It has gone from being an idea to a passion, and then a project and now it is a fully-fledged book. Learn firstly about the mystical process of alchemy, and then discover how it deepens our understanding of the transits of the outer planets to the natal chart. A fascinating book that deserves a place in every astrologer's library.Clare Martin has an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and has been a practising astrologer and teacher since 1990, working in London for the Faculty of Astrological Studies, of which she was President for nine years, and at the Centre for Psychological Astrology. Her personal approach to astrological interpretation is fundamentally Jungian, and evolved during a long period of studying with a variety of teachers in the western mystery traditions. Clare now lives in Dorset, where she continues her writing and consultancy work and is a tutor on the Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology.

Many books today simply widen the field of astrology by promoting newly created techniques or championing older historical methods for investigating every possible nook and cranny of a horoscope. In contrast, this award winning writer points the reader in a new direction toward deepening the way that we approach and think about astrology in these post modern times. Drawing upon the archetypal perspectives of Mircea Eliade, James Hillman, and Thomas Moore, the author presents a truly psychological astrology, an astrology of soul that can plumb the depths of our being, sounding out our centers in a manner that enriches our struggle to fully engage what it means to be human.

In the vast expanse of the universe, there exists an intricate dance of celestial bodies that has captivated humanity for millennia. This dance, known as astrology, offers a profound lens through which we can perceive the interconnectedness between the cosmos and our own lives. At its core, astrology is a symbolic language that enables us to decode the mysteries of existence, understand our place in the cosmos, and align with the rhythms of the universe. The concept of astrology traces back to ancient civilizations who gazed upon the night sky with wonder and awe, seeking to discern patterns and meaning in the movements of the stars and planets. Over time, this intuitive exploration evolved into a sophisticated system of knowledge, encompassing diverse traditions and philosophies from cultures around the world. At the heart of astrology lies the idea that the positions and alignments of celestial bodies at the moment of our birth influence our personalities, behaviors, and life experiences. By mapping the positions of the planets in relation to the zodiac signs and houses, astrologers create a unique cosmic snapshot known as a birth chart or natal chart. This chart serves as a personalized guide, revealing the inherent qualities, potentials, and challenges encoded within our individual destinies.
