Contagion may alarm doctors but marketers thrive on it. Some concepts are so compelling you have to share them. But what makes an idea so infectious you can't keep it to yourself? And how can brands produce these kinds of ideas intentionally rather than by chance? Contagious, the globally renowned intelligence resource for the marketing industry, is dedicated to identifying and interrogating the world's most exceptional creative trends. And in The Contagious Commandments, Paul Kemp-Robertson and Chris Barth condense this valuable research into ten strategic takeaways for your own marketing revolution. Taking inspiration from disruptive campaigns from the likes of Patagonia, Nike, Safaricom, BrewDog, LEGO, Kenco, and dozens more, The Contagious Commandments explores how companies fuse creativity, technology and behavioural psychology to achieve truly original marketing ideas that have a positive impact on society and profits - and how your brand can too.

Download High Art Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
Art can be confusing. Luckily, there’s marijuana. This book pairs fifty classic works from all around the world with unique cannabis recommendations. High Art gives you answers to questions that have long plagued art history students, such as Is there an edible that will help me understand Cubism? (Yes!) Can a cannabis strain connect me more deeply to late-period Van Gogh? (Of course!) And Should I be intimidated by the work of William Blake? (Very much so—but cannabis extracts can help.) To get in touch with your inner self while viewing Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with a Straw Hat, toke on some of Gravita’s Red-Headed Stranger and really feel the brush strokes wash over you. Or while viewing Henri Rousseau’s 1910 Tropical Forest with Monkeys, you might smoke some mild Purple Monkey followed by a snack of THC-infused dried fruits for a body float that will allow you to connect with your primitive nature. So whether you know a lot about art and nothing about cannabis or a lot about cannabis and nothing about art, it’s high time you expanded your mind.

Download Like Art Book in PDF, ePub and Kindle
"Like Art" was the title of my Artforum column that ran from 1985 to 1990, but it was also my philosophy of advertising. Advertising was like art, and more and more art was like advertising. Ideally the only difference would be the logo. Advertising could take up the former causes of art--philosophy, beauty, mystery, empire. We were clearly living in a time of extremist hypocrisy where various forms of creative work descried one another. Price-gouging painters looked down onlowly craftsmen and entertainment journeymen. Millionaire rock stars adopted a quasi-communist stance, emphasizing the anti-commercia aspect of their work. From back cover.
