Cardinal Kasper is a distinguished theologian who was a colleague of Cardinal Ratzinger, Karl Rahner, and Hans Kung at The Universities of Münster and Tübingen. Kasper now heads the Vatican's Council for Promoting Christian Unity, with the specific task of fostering relations between the Catholic Church and other Christian Churches and Ecclesial communities. Here he outlines his vision for the unity of Christian Churches. A man with an open mind, Kasper covers one of the major responsibilities of the contemporary Catholic Church. His perspective of the uniqueness of The Catholic Church and its magisterium is presented here as a modern inquiry into the nature of truth. His views are enlightening and engaging, and reflect the important role of dialogue as understood by the Catholic Church, which also listen to other traditions and learn from them. Many will read it in the hope that the thought of this renowned, open-minded Church leader may give hope to people of all traditions that they may learn to understand Jesus's injunction - 'they may be one'.

The perfect gift! A specially priced, beautifully designed hardcover edition of The Joy of the Gospel with a foreword by Robert Barron and an afterword by James Martin, SJ. “The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus… In this Exhortation I wish to encourage the Christian faithful to embark upon a new chapter of evangelization marked by this joy, while pointing out new paths for the Church’s journey in years to come.” – Pope Francis This special edition of Pope Francis's popular message of hope explores themes that are important for believers in the 21st century. Examining the many obstacles to faith and what can be done to overcome those hurdles, he emphasizes the importance of service to God and all his creation. Advocating for “the homeless, the addicted, refugees, indigenous peoples, the elderly who are increasingly isolated and abandoned,” the Holy Father shows us how to respond to poverty and current economic challenges that affect us locally and globally. Ultimately, Pope Francis demonstrates how to develop a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ, “to recognize the traces of God’s Spirit in events great and small.” Profound in its insight, yet warm and accessible in its tone, The Joy of the Gospel is a call to action to live a life motivated by divine love and, in turn, to experience heaven on earth. Includes a foreword by Robert Barron, author of Catholicism: A Journey to the Heart of the Faith and James Martin, SJ, author of Jesus: A Pilgrimage

Is it possible that the church that Jesus died for could come to a place of true unity to fulfill purpose and release an unquenchable destiny in the earth? I say, not only is it possible, but out of the church shall come a people who will disregard the popular opinion of the masses seeking to promote their own agenda. This remnant will cause massive deliverance and fortified wholeness to be released in the earth. The nature of the King released through men has been the plan of God since the inception of this new kind of species that all of eternity and creation had never seen before. God speaks the language of community from the beginning of man's existence. "Let us make man in our image and after our likeness" is the declaration of the King. Therefore, it is not heretical for me to pronounce that the common union that we share in as men extends beyond our harmony with one another in the flesh. Mankind is to function in the earth as God's duplication species. As we approach this broad topic of recapturing the glory of oneness, we will begin by looking at the local covenant community. In the fourth chapter of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul speaks of the ascension gift ministries within the Body of Christ. These ministry gifts are empowered and released on local, regional, and international levels. On that premise, we will explore covenant community beyond the local setting and move into the regional and international applications. The ultimate assignment of the ascension gift ministries is to bring about the restoration of all things to the original intent of the Father. They must bring us beyond oneness with man into the glory of oneness with God.
