The plant is of free branching habit, commencing to bloom early in the season, and producing its flowers on stems 3 feet long, and which, after cut ting, keep in perfect condition for eight to ten days. They measure to 6 inches in diameter, and, early in the season, are an intense rosy crimson, tipped with white, and having a white band around the disk. As the season advances they become lighter, until they are almost a pure white, suffused with soft pink, blended in the most beautiful manner.
