The recently married Bernie Mylin and his wife, Gwen, have relocated to the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, area and finds turmoil is once again building. Norma Harris, who has caused so much trouble in the past for the Mylin's, has reached out to Harrisburg from her prison cell in Germany. Arson, murders, and a kidnapping keeps Bernie on his toes, seeking answers. Bernie and Gwen call upon two of their friends from Cicero, Illinois, to contribute their help in catching a criminal. Meanwhile, Bernie must still manage an international standards department and hire engineers for two new major product families. At times the swirl of events almost becomes too much to bear. During the course of the story, Bernie Mylin, a Christian, must respond to questions and situations imposed by unbelieving co-workers. Questions of faith are considered as well as Bernie's attempt to witness to a member of a cult. David F. Rundle has had four books published previously. Two are nonfiction Bible study aids (Your Mirror Reflects Jacob and Grace and the Rebel Sigh) and two Christian murder mysteries titled A Spring Cicero Murder and The Bloodied Lambskin. David Rundle worked for thirty-five years in the electronic components industry as Product Engineering Manager and retired in 1998 as Global Product Standards Director. David Rundle's vision and desire is to write and publish fictional novels (mysteries) that include travel to international locations he has visited during his standardization efforts.
