Jesus is truly the author of my story. He has been my light and my guide through the dark tunnel of suffering and pain. The pain and suffering a parent encounters when faced with the death of a child is truly unbearable. The ability to cope with the grief of such loss is beyond human endurance. The heart of his mercy tenderly carries us “on the wings of the morning.” Psalm 139:9–10 says, “If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand shall hold me fast.” God has his very own unique way of restoring and healing broken hearts. He is able! Even in the mist of brokenness and sorrow, he is able to grant joy.
