Swing Island Book I - Power to Survive, is about a new hero, Orehon Retnu and his personal Power. , It's about the interconnection and interaction of everyone's power and how each person's power can change the world. Orehon's story unfolds in the tree top forest of Teapottum, a truly amazing place with seven-hundred foot tall trees. The trees have massive trunks and branches so tightly intertwined that, if someone were to cut one down, it wouldn't fall because neighboring trees would hold it up. Although convoluted, and at all times precarious, the interconnecting network of branches makes natural walkways between the trees. Orehon, unlike almost everyone else, much prefers bypassing the twisting pathways in favor of swinging on vines directly from tree to tree, and there always seems to be a vine just right for getting Orehon where he wants to go. Growing up as a nomadic hunter, Orehon knows the ways of the forest, but not the ways of adults and their politics. Book I, by Richard Bennett-Woods, introduces us to Orehon, a boy who is plunged into a dangerous and confusing new world where he must find his personal power without losing his identity.

This culminates in a very special and unique wedding. 5 STAR REVIEW ---------------------- First, I want to thank Charlie Wish for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review. The Founding of Swing Island an erotic novella is the first book I have ever read by Charlie Wish. The author warned his readers up front that the book contained explicit details of sexual acts between consenting adults. There were acts between bisexuals, heterosexuals, and watersports (that part I was not a huge fan of). I have read a lot of erotica however this book by far has been the hottest I have read. Charlie’s storytelling, his eye for details of the story, the amazing cast of characters, and the plot was unlike any book I had ever read prior. He made you feel like you were a fly on the wall looking In on the action! The main character George had to be the luckiest man alive for the amazing fortune and experiences he was given. What I liked most about him was he had a heart of gold and wanted was best for his “family.” By Heidi Lynn on 30 April 2017

Two-time Edgar Award winner Rupert Holmes–author of the critically acclaimed Where the Truth Lies and creator of the Tony Award—winning musical whodunit The Mystery of Edwin Drood–now fuses gripping suspense and evocative music in an innovative novel of intrigue set in 1940, during the very heart of the Big Band era. Jazz saxophonist and arranger Ray Sherwood, touring with the Jack Donovan Orchestra, is haunted by personal tragedy. But when a beautiful and talented Berkeley student named Gail Prentice seeks his help in orchestrating a highly original composition called Swing Around the Sun, which is slated to premiere at the Golden Gate Exposition on the newly created Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay, Ray finds himself powerfully drawn to the beguiling coed. Within moments of first setting eyes on her, Ray also witnesses a horrifying sight: a young woman plunging to her death from the island’s emblematic Tower of the Sun. As the captivated Ray learns more about Gail and her unusual family, he finds himself trapped in a tightening coil of spiraling secrets– some personally devastating, all dangerous and deadly– in which from moment to moment nothing is certain, including Gail’s intentions toward him and her connection to the dead woman who made such a grisly impact upon the stunning island. As events speed toward a shocking climax, Ray must use all his physical daring and improvisational skills to unlock an ominous puzzle whose sinister implications stretch far beyond anything he could imagine.

Swing Island Book III - Power Unleashed, concludes the 13th year of Orehon's life. In this final adventure, Orehon struggles to understand how the good and evil winds of Teapottum swirl and churn together to create the world in which he lives. He witnesses this firsthand, when he rediscovers an ancient blow gun poison, and struggles with possessing such power, even though it may be his only hope. In Book I, Orehon fights against a kidnapping ring directly. In Book II, Orehon becomes entangled with the individual who financed that kidnapping ring. Now, in Book III, Orehon finds himself locked in a dual to the death with the evil Chief that sat a top of the kidnapping ring pyramid, and is now threatening his world, the people he loves, and his way of life. So join Orehon as he threads his way through the convoluted and precarious pathways of the Teapottum tree tops, and the even more convoluted and precarious ways of forest politics.
