Feeding our body and our Spirit is a must for all the seasons of life, no matter our age or status. God expects ALL of His children to nourish our spirit and soul. Only the individual can do this.... We have to 'feed ourselves' on purpose. A handbook of help and hope when facing personal tragedy. When the storms of life blow in unexpectedly, wreaking havoc and leaving a trail of destruction, why does one person fall apart while another perseveres and even finds a deeper sense of purpose afterward? In Beyond the Storm, Debra Morton reveals why, providing the techniques and strategies that helped her and many others not only survive but also thrive, even in the most painful of circumstances. While ministering to victims of Hurricane Katrina and grieving the death of her granddaughter, Morton realized that the key to pushing forward in the midst of setbacks was having a defined set of coping skills. So she created the “Storm Playbook,” which teaches how to renew your hope, reclaim your passion, and experience fulfillment and joy again. That playbook is here for you to use immediately, along with interactive tools, journaling questions, and scripture studies that will guide you through pain and struggle and into strength and victory once again. Beyond the Storm is an essential help for flourishing after the devastating effects of life’s blows so you can actively pursue the purpose you were designed to fulfill.

It can take less than a minute to get fired. Less than a minute to hear the words that change your life as you’ve known it. You’re stunned, shocked, humiliated—because your career has defined your life and you’ve been blindsided. You’re a company Loyalist with a capital L, and you’ve been sucker punched professionally. How do you even talk about this? Countless books focus on leadership and resilience, but none of them take you through what actually happens to women leaders who are suddenly let go, or who endure untenable circumstances and ultimately fire themselves. None of them take you, step by step, through the emotional process of acceptance and beginning again. And that’s where Involuntary Exit comes in. With advice for every unexpected twist, turn, and emotional trigger, this book is based on author Robin Merle’s experience at the top of billion-dollar organizations, as well as her interviews with accomplished women who were suddenly severed from their organizations and navigated their way back to success. The real-life examples she offers in these pages prove that you’re not alone—and that you, too, will get through this. Whether you’ve been fired or need to move on, Involuntary Exit will help you rediscover your value and emerge as a stronger leader on your own terms.

The noun of this word crescendo speaks of the loudest point reached in a gradually increasing sound. It also speaks of the highest point reached in a progressive increase of intensity. The verb speaks of an increase in loudness or intensity, such as the “reluctant cheers began to crescendo". We are in a spiritual season that is reaching such a crescendo. Several years ago the Lord first spoke about how we are heading into a “season”, therefore, a period of time not determined in length, during which things will get very “intense”. It means that as we consider the word “crescendo”, we are right now in a time where the hostility against God is reaching a very intense stage, and such intensity has progressively increased over the years. It will be a season of great spiritual warfare, where many people will struggle to remain standing. So intense is the hostility and the onslaught, that many believers will actually fall away if they are not found to be settled upon the Rock of Jesus. It is a time of quickening what the Lord is doing, but also a time of a quickening regarding the devil’s work. In such stormy and intense times, we need to learn how to thrive, still make an impact for Christ and fulfil the Great commission. This is a collection of prophetic insights and spontaneous prophetic utterances to unveil the scope, magnitude and ramification of the Crescendo season.

Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller! When the storm hits, you have three choices: give up and become a victim; do what you can to survive; or learn to thrive. You don’t need to have exceptional talents or resources to overcome adversity, be resilient, and achieve extraordinary goals. You are capable of more than you realize. You can learn to thrive. Bill Murphy is proof. He’ll be the first to tell you he is nothing special, but he has been able to overcome an abusive childhood, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), mental health challenges, and unexpected crises to finish an Ironman, earn a black belt in Krav Maga, and run the Boston Marathon five times—including one on crutches. He’s a regular guy who is now thriving at the top of his profession, too. And in Thriving in the Storm, he explains how you can achieve similar success. Murphy shares the 9 key principles and the 21 mental exercises that have helped him succeed beyond what anyone thought was possible. By distilling wisdom from other experts like Tony Robbins and Grant Cardone, sharing personal anecdotes, and telling inspirational stories from other achievers he’s encountered, Murphy has created a straight-talk, self-help resource for anyone who wants to transform their feelings of shame, anger, resentment, rejection, and fear into great success, happiness, peace, and an overall enthusiasm for life.
