Remembering what your Alma Mater has given to you, as you acquire the means be ready to co-operate with your Alma Mater to extend a helping hand to others. While I rejoice with you to-day I have my own serious thoughts. I question myself--Have I done my full duty by you? I can only say I have tried to do so. And now I welcome you with all my heart into the honorable company of Stevens Alumni; and I bid you go forth as loyal sons of a worthy mother determined to win for yourselves first self-support and then the means for rendering unselfish service to your fellows, so adding honor and renown to our Alma Mater.
