The northern, eastern, and western boundaries of the area are formed by certain section and township lines of the recent resurvey of this region by the United States Land Office. The east ern boundary line of the area is about 35 miles west of the California Arizona State line. The area surveyed has an extent Of 540 square miles, or acres.
