Bills providing for similar laws are being considered for introduction in the legislatures of other States. The Department is vitally interested in the passage of such legislation by the States; In its long experience with con servation programs, whether they dealt with the soil, the forests, the range, or wildlife, the Department has found that the problems of conservation invariably are closely bound up with the right use of land.
