En esta tesis se presenta el tema "Software para el análisis y diseño del presupuesto de enlace para comunicaciones vía satélite". Este proyecto consiste en un programa hecho en visual Basic 6.0, el cual es capaz de medir las ganancias y pérdidas que se generan en las señales de un enlace satelital. El desarrollo del programa requiere de un intenso análisis de los parámetros que conforman las ecuaciones de enlace, éstas son las que nos ayudarán a decidir si nuestra señal tiene la calidad de potencia suficiente al ser transmitida. Otro punto importante en el desarrollo del programa es que éste realiza el análisis con diferentes tipos de climas, lo que lo hace útil para ser utilizado en distintas regiones. También se presenta un estudio sobre satélites geoestacionarios mostrando los tipos de orbitas existentes así como el funcionamiento y tipos de los satélites, telemetría y comando, alimentación eléctrica, vida útil y la puesta en orbita del satélite. Los cálculos realizados en este proyecto muestran las distintas ventajas y desventajas que tienen un enlace de otro las cuales ayudaran a poder optimizar los enlaces para tener una buena calidad de potencia del receptor. Se realizó un software para hacer cálculos de las pérdidas en exteriores e interiores para comunicaciones móviles satelitales. Para la realización de éste se tomaron en cuenta dos sistemas satelitales LEO (Low Earth Orbit) existentes en la actualidad GLOBALSTAR e IRIDIUM, además de programar estos sistemas se tiene una opción para realizar los cálculos con parámetros propuestos por el usuario. Se programaron modelos de propagación para interiores para con esto obtener las pérdidas en comunicaciones personales móviles vía satélite que es el tema al que va enfocado este proyecto, este software fue desarrollado utilizando el lenguaje de programación Visual Basic. Esto se hizo para tener una interfaz accesible y agradable para el usuario del software. Para la realización de este software se tomaron en cuenta cinco modelos de propagación en interiores, los modelos son modelo por Factor de atenuación o Attenuation Factor Model, modelo ITU-R, modelo Multi-Wall COST-231, modelo Log distance path loss, modelo Keenan Motley estos modelos fueron unidos a las pérdidas que se tienen para un enlace satelital móvil, para con esto tener una predicción de las pérdidas en los enlaces totales de subida y de bajada. El software se puede usar para tener una perspectiva de la cobertura de las comunicaciones satelitales móviles y en particular se pueden analizar las pérdidas que se tienen tanto en exteriores como en interiores para este tipo de comunicaciones. También se pueden llegar a analizar y a comparar las predicciones de pérdidas de cada uno de los modelos programados así como las variaciones en éstos, con respecto a los datos dados por el usuario.

[Castellà] En la actualidad, en la comunicación satelital se puede encontrar diversos escenarios que cuentan con ventajas claras sobre otros, como lo es el escenario de una o pocas "muy buenas" estaciones terrenas recibiendo datos de un satélite que puede ser de observación o comercial, y hay otros escenarios que cuentan con muchas estaciones terrenas "malas", así mismo recibiendo datos de un satélite de órbita baja dedicado a observación o salvamento; el proyecto se centra en analizar la viabilidad del escenario de muchas estaciones "malas" frente al de una o pocas estaciones "muy buenas", para esto realizaremos una comparación exhaustiva de ambos, en términos del tiempo de cobertura, como en la capacidad de recibir datos, es decir analizando el Throughput; por lo que hemos desarrollado un simulador que consta de dos partes: el programa STK, y el software en MATLAB, el cual calculará el Throughput y así con la ayuda de las gráficas de resultados se lleva a cabo el análisis para poder estudiar la viabilidad de dicho escenario.
