Shining Spirit has grown up. He now wants to help his fellow animals. He sees a need to help others. The need may have come because his family helped him, I tend to believe that it was in God's plan all the time. God has given him a special talent, the mind, and developing a good character to do something instead of looking and just commenting on it. Shining Spirit is more than a story character. He is anyone that is trying to make a difference and improving their life. Shining Spirit wants to show that he can really love. He is a hero, and heroes are still in this world, not just in storybooks, movies, and comics. Heroes are walking around you. Who and where can he or she be? You could be a hero yourself. Sometimes you can be, just by the way you treat people. Remember! Beauty can be seen, and not only with the eyes.

Are you aware, too, that God is using children to reach the world? The Holy Spirit is gifting our children and grandchildren, and they are naturally able to show Gods power to the world. Some of these children are strong intercessors. Others have the gift of healing. Many are called on by God to teach, while some to prophecy. Its not just the little ones, but teenagers as well. As we learn how easily these children seem to walk in the supernatural normal, we may be able to rekindle our childlike faith that moved mountains.

Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). The Holy Spirit empowers us, guides us, and enables us to grow and endure in our relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ. Often the most misunderstood member of the Trinity, the person of the Spirit continues to attract attention today amidst church revivals and renewals. In this new edition of his classic Keep in Step with the Spirit, J. I. Packer seeks to help Christians reaffirm the biblical call to holiness and the Spirit s role in keeping our covenant with God. Packer guides us through the riches and depth of the Spirit s work, assesses versions of holiness and the charismatic life, and shows how Christ must always be at the centre of true Spirit-led ministry. A new chapter explores Christian assurance. With abiding relevance and significance, Keep in Step with the Spirit sets forth vital knowledge for healthy and joyous Christian living, through understanding and experience of God the Holy Spirit. Here is a book for every serious believer to read and re-read.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY is my tribute to the Heavenly Father who has granted me the gift of poetic inspiration-a gift I cherish dearly. I had to stop last year (then 1997) and ask God how He wanted me to use this gift. He answered me by allowing me to create 15 poems in 11 days that I was expected to share with others-which, of course, I did. Without this gift, I could not share with you what a few have had an opportunity to read. Thank You, Lord God. The poems contained in this volume were written as thoughts of God's goodness and mercy, His love and compassion, and His overwhelming grace were made evident to me through my life or the lives of people He brought my way. I would be remiss not to give Him the glory. I can never thank Him enough for the blessing that He has allowed my words to be for the people these poems were presented to or with whom I was allowed to share them. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER has given each of us special gifts. Many of us choose to play around with them, but never use them to enhance His kingdom. He's given everyone of us talents that are uniquely ours. Yes, some of us can draw, sing, dance, write, cook, heal, and/or entertain others. All of us have some God-given gift that has endeared us to someone else, even if it's nothing more than caring and taking care of one's fellow person. Don't waste or take for granted the abilities that God has given you. For if you fail to use them for the good of this world, you will find yourself without them. Share your gifts with others. No matter how insignificant they may appear to be to you, they may prove to be a blessing for someone else to enjoy. God Bless!
