She Wears her Crown was birthed from a place of uncovering my purpose and rediscovering the God who knew me before I came into this world. This book was written with the intentions of assisting women in their journey to understanding who they are and the power and access they have as daughters of the one true King. Written from the pages of my life experiences and is based on Biblical truths; because only the word of God has the power to overturn the lies we've been told. Daughter, you are royalty. She Wears her Crown is a 31 days women's devotional. From day one to day thirty-one allow yourself to be encouraged and equipped with insights and depths of your existence. Along with a short encouragement you will find powerful truths from verses in the Bible. Inside you'll also find chain breaking declarations because there is power in your words. There is also a section for you to journal. You can write your thoughts, a prayer or even create your own life declarations. This is a journey of uncovering who you were always meant to be. No other force in the universe has the drive or power to bring to light who you are and why you are. It takes the one who created you to give clarity on how you function and what you possess. As you take this journey of self-discovery and in some areas, God discovery, embrace the fact that you were meant for everything royalty. Life's experiences may have caused you to dim your shine and have tempted you to take off your crown but to pursue purpose as you uncover your power and authority is to wear your crown.

Your singleness season does not have to be a downer; God wants you to thrive in your royal identity. The purpose of the book is for those who are single and waiting for their prince charming. In the book, I dive deeper to explore how sometimes our association to marriage is tied to our happiness. The book reveals the lies that we've believed that if we have met our partner, then we will live happily ever after. Nobody can make us truly happy and meet all our needs outside of Christ. Also, I'm going into detail of describing that if our foundation isn't built first on the Word of God, then it's hard to build up without a strong foundation. Setting our foundation first prepares us for the future filled with blessings. Knowing our identity will be instrumental of that foundational piece that will help us to launch the calling on our lives by helping us identify who we are as daughters of a king. I hope this book encourages other single ladies during their season of waiting to thrive in their royal identity as His royal daughter.

Modeled after Maria Shriver's Just Who Will You Be, Queen Latifah's goal with Put On Your Crown is to help young women build a strong sense of self-esteem. A US Dept. of Justice survey found that females ages 16-24 are more vulnerable to partner violence than any other group, almost triple the national average. Cases like Chris Brown's assault on pop star Rihanna showed an ugly side of adolescent life. However, Queen Latifah has always been a shining example of a woman happy with herself and unwilling to compromise to fit into the "hollywood ideal" of what a confident beautiful woman should look like. The result: She's one of the biggest A-list celebrities in Hollywood.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior on January I3, 1986. Since that life-changing day, I have heard, read about and observed many spiritual struggles in Christians' lives, including Christian leaders, such as pastors, evangelists. missionaries, deacons, teachers, elders, administrators, and bishops. I feel strongly in my spirit that many are grieving the Holy Spirit in more ways than one, and I am no exception. The list of how we are grieving the Spirit is exhaustive; however, I will mention some key areas where we have been failing consistently: 1. Not loving God as we ought 2. Not fearing God as we ought 3. Turning God into a God of Convenience 4. Not reading the Word (Bible) daily 5. Failing to pray for self and others 6. Breaking promises 7. Not tithing regularly 8. Being a false witness 9. Choosing to be selfish and self-centered 10. Not being thankful and not showing appreciation I I. Taking God and others for granted 12. Presenting ourselves as holy and righteous 13. Judging others constantly 14. Entertaining and encouraging gossip 15. Not practicing humility The Holy Spirit inspired me to write this book first to myself as an eye-opening experience. Yet, I realize I am not the only one dealing with the issues mentioned above. Thousands of people (possibly more) may be experiencing the same things I have been facing. Therefore, let us learn to be patient, kind, tolerant, and understanding of one another, and instead of judging one another in an ungodly manner, let us learn to appreciate, respect, and accept each other, despite our disagreements and differences. With that in mind, consider the following Scripture Verse from the New Testament: "And do nor grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption" (Ephesians 4:30). Thank You and God Bless.
