Throughout the centuries, the mystics and sages have used parables as a way to help us more easily remember and reflect on the deepest secrets in life. Osho is a master storyteller of our times, who has an uncommon knack for bringing the timeless wisdom of ancient parables right into the 21st century, in a way that gives us immediate and practical insight into the realities of contemporary life. The emphasis of the deck is not on prophecy or divination-rather, it directs us to the hidden potential of transformation and renewal in every aspect of our daily lives, if we only know where to look for it. Choose a card for the day, and read the accompanying story as a theme for contemplation. Or use as simple spread to explore the dynamics of a relationship, or to gain insight into a specific question. 60 beautiful cards illustrating parables and teaching stories form the world's great wisdom traditions-including Zen, Buddhism, Sufism, Tantra, Tao, Christian and Jewish mysticism. A book containing the parables, summary meanings for each card, the instructions for a variety of simple card readings to gain insight into the challenges and opportunities of everyday life.

Embrace and deepen your understanding of the spiritual and intuitive power of tarot cards using your favorite modern anime characters and symbols. While tarot has been around for years, it’s seen a grand revival among those eager to learn how the cards can nurture intuition and spirituality in more creative, modern ways. And what better way to do that than by combining the classic symbolism of tarot with the fun and consistently appearing archetypes in anime? Whether it’s The Empress, a card representing femininity, beauty, nurturing, and abundance, being represented through the Yamato Nadeshiko character archetype, which is the epitome of purity, poise, kindness, and honesty; or The Hermit, a card linked to solitude, soul-searching, and withdrawal being linked to the Hikikomori archetype, the modern-day hermits that rely heavily on technology, social media, video games, and other forms of distanced communication and entertainment to get by, we all have an unrealized version of our true potential lying in wait, and what better way to see this potential than through our favorite anime characters. Linking these anime characters and genre theory, tropes, and archetypes to the classic symbolism of the major and minor Arcana, Anime Tarot helps you engage and deepen your understanding of your inner world.

Tarot is more than a means of fortune telling: by telling an allegorical story of our quest in life, it provides valuable insight into where we are on our path and how we can arrive at a better place. The Authentic Tarot stays faithful to the cards’ true spirit, using this ancient technique as a tool for self-realization and heightened awareness. Thomas Saunders decodes what may be the oldest known complete deck, the Ancien Tarot de Marseille, which retains the greatest integrity for its original function. He explains the symbolism of each card and the relationships between them, and offers enlightening interpretations of both the Major Arcana and the 56 minor cards. Easy-to-consult charts help decipher a 21 card spread.

This large format book was issued in connection with Adam McLean's exhibition at the Glasgow School of Art in April 2009. Curated by Ronnie Heeps and Adam McLean, this exhibition in the Rene Mackintosh Gallery was drawn from Adam McLean's collection of original cards, and it documents the evolution of tarot art in Japan, simultaneously opening a window into Japanese popular art and its contemporary culture.Japan was first exposed to tarot card images in the 1970s and within a few years Japanese artists were producing tarot decks for their home market. In the last thirty years many hundreds of Japanese tarots have been created. Initially imitative of the familiar Western forms, Japanese versions quickly diversified as artists and graphic designers explored a variety of different styles. Tarot in Japan has interacted with manga, anime, the fantasy art of computer games, fashion and children's cartoon imagery. This unique amalgamation has resulted in some extremely creative and idiosyncratic explorations of tarot imagery. This book was beautifully designed by the Glasgow artist, Ronnie Heeps.

Tarot is the extended deck of cards used for divination, dating back to the Renaissance. It works by images, as do humans. We are creatures of imagination. Reading the Tarot cards is essentially done by processing the images in our imagination. This book presents the Tarot and explains how it's used in divination. But the main purpose of the book is to tickle the reader's imagination into going on the spiritual quest induced by imagery. See the Tarot card pictures come alive as other pictures emerge from your mind to meet and transform them. You may find that the world will never look the same again. Stefan Stenudd is a Swedish author, historian of ideas, artist, and instructor in the peaceful martial art aikido. In the history of ideas he studies the thought patterns of creation myths, as well as Aristotle's Poetics.
