Series 7:The 7th and final series of the multi award winning Rumpole of The Bailey. Rumpole is called to defend a family who is charged of being involved with devil worship and he finds himself in the unusual position of defending a police officer on a charge of falsifying a confession. Rumpole surprises She Who Must Be Obeyed with tickets for the Scales of Justice Ball and delights her when he leads her onto the dance floor. In the final episode Rumpole is charged with contempt of court and faces disbarment. All he has to do is apologise. But as always with Rumpole, its never going to be easy.
