Report On Proposed Flood Mitigation Works On The Lower Georges River PDF Download

This study was initiated to assess and manage flood risks along the Lower Georges River floodplain downstream of its junction with the Woronora River. The study area includes the foreshores of Oyster Bay, Gwawley Bay and Woolooware Bay, but only flooding originating from the Georges River is considered. The study includes a climate change sensitivity test, assessing the potential impact of sea level rise and increased rainfall intensity on flood levels.
