The former is the older and larger institution. During the year two new buildings, one used as an auditorium and gymnasium and the other as a dormitory, were built at Tempe, and other improvements were made. Durin the year there were enrolled at the Tempe Normal School 251 stu cuts. The graduating class numbered 50. There were 21 professors and instructors.
