The family carriage, which was presented to Mr. Clay by the Citizens of Newark, N. J., in 1833, which was the only one in the procession admitted nto the Cemetery grounds, was ornamented with white funereal plumes and wreaths of evergreens and flowers. It was occupied by Aaron Dupuy, an old negro servant of Mr. Clay, who had been in his service for many years. In the back seat was a bust of Mr. Clay, and the engraving of his leave-taking of the Senate.
