The president also cited the following as four of hampden-sydney's most pressing needs for the immediate future: (1) science building, (2) indoor swimming pool, (3) additional dormitory space, and (4) increased endowment. At the conclusion of Dr. Gilmer's prepared remarks, he and Mr. Trotter answered questions from the floor. Officers chosen for next year were Dr. Nathaniel H. Wooding, '31, president; Dr. Alexander W.
