Posidonius was a major intellectual figure of the Hellenistic world whose interests and contribution spread over the whole intellectual field: philosophy, history, the sciences. His writings are of interest not only to philosophers and classicists, but also to historians and history of science. His work survives only in fragments. The text of these fragments, collected and edited by L. Edelstein and I. G. Kidd, was published in 1972 (Vol. I The Fragments), with a second edition in 1989. This collection, along with Vol. II The Commentary by I.G. Kidd (1988), has become established as the definitive modern edition. However, many of the fragments are extremely difficult to translate, and this volume of translations has been compiled to make this interesting material more easily accessible to scholars and students. The translations are accompanied by contextual introductions and explanatory notes where necessary. An Introduction summarises the importance of Posidonius and his work.

Ten-year-old Keely Rosalie Tucker is a modern-day knight with no armor. Constantly bullied by a neighbor boy, Keely struggles to find her place in the world in which she is comforted only by the stories her Gramms has told her about enchanted, faraway places, where unicorns, fairies, and angels protect children from life's everyday pains and dangers. Now all Keely has to do is figure out how to call them to help her. Everything changes when her beloved Gramms suddenly dies and gifts Keely with her aging horse, Mariah setting the stage for an adventure. Now she must learn to believe in herself and develop her secret powers in order to deliver a miracle before it is too late. In this delightful and charming fantasy tale, a little girl learns to summon her courage and rely on her imagination as she opens her heart and mind to the sounds of the possible in a last-ditch effort to save a friend.

Raven De Winter: loner, loser, poet with a razor blade, trapped in a tormented relationship for the sake of his young son. Pegasus Belmont: melancholy dreamer, haunted by the smile of his dead mother, silver wings tattooed on his shoulder blades like a wish. Both have their own secrets, their own reasons for trying to deny the intensity of their feelings for one another, but how long can this charade really last? Set amid the smoke-filled bars and rainy back streets of late 90s Melbourne, Trapdoor is a love story whispered to the heart of a lonely night; a contemporary, dark + lyrical new-adult novel featuring queer characters, written by Vixen Phillips. Sometimes, if you wish hard enough, dreams can come true, even if you should wake to find them gone like shadows in the morning. And soon, it will be dawn...
