July, 1916, at a special town meeting, legally call-ei and duly and regularly held, 11 proposition raising and appropriating the sum of five thousand dollars for the erection and construction of a bridge or arch over the Jeddo creek where the same crosses the ridge road at Jeddo, in said town of Ridgeva_v, was duly carried, and, whereas, pursuant to law, and to said proposition so adopted, the Town Board of the Town of Ridgeway, at a meeting leflally called and regularly held on the third day of August, 1916, adopted a resolution authorizing and empowering and directinz the Supervisor and Town Clerk, for and on behalf of said Town Board, and for the purposes mentioned in said proposition, to borrow upon the credit of said town the sum of five thousand dollars, and to execute and deliver to the Union Bank of Medina, from which said sum should be borrowed, a certificate of indebtedness therefor, NOW, fl11'f1'6. pursuant to said resolution the Supervisor and Town Clerk of the Town of Ridgeway, Orleans County, New York, hereby certify that said town has this day borrowed upon its credit of the Union Bank of Medina, N. Y., the sum of five thousand dollars for the purposes above mentioned, and that said sum shall become due and payable, with interest at five per cent. per annum, on Februarv 10, 1917, at said Union 'Bank of Medina, and this certificate acknowledges said indebt edness.
