Since that period also, a number of valuable cases have been sent to me, which have considerably augmented my materials. I therefore thought it much better, to supply the place of engravings, by letter-press description, than farther to enhance the price of a book, the object of which has been neither the acquisition of profit, nor the gratification of vanity.
