We have studied two-body charmless hadronic decays of B mesons into the final states[pi][pi], K[pi], and KK. Using 3.3 million B[bar B] pairs collected with the CLEO-II detector, we have made the first observation of the decays B[sup 0][yields] K[sup+][pi][sup -], B[sup+][yields] K[sup 0][pi][sup+], and the sum of B[sup+][yields][pi][sup+][pi][sup 0] and B[sup+][yields] K[sup+][pi][sup 0] decays (an average over charge-conjugate states is always implied). We place upper limits on branching fractions for the remaining decay modes.

We present a study of ten B-meson decays to a D{sup (*)}, a proton-antiproton pair, and a system of up to two pions using BABAR's data set of 455 x 106 B{bar B} pairs. Four of the modes {bar B}° → D°p{bar p}, {bar B}° → D*°p{bar p}, {bar B}° → Dp{bar p}?−, {bar B}° → D{sup ast+}p{bar p}?− are studied with improved statistics compared to previous measurements; six of the modes (B− → D°p{bar p}?−, B− → D*°p{bar p}?−, {bar B}° → D°p{bar p}?−?+, {bar B}° → D*°p{bar p}?−?+, B− → D+p{bar p}?−?−, B− → D{sup ast+}p{bar p}?−?−) are first observations. The branching fractions for 3- and 5-body decays are suppressed compared to 4-body decays. Kinematic distributions for 3-body decays show non-overlapping threshold enhancements in m(p{bar p}) and m(D{sup (*)0}p) in the Dalitz plots. For 4-body decays, m(p?−) mass projections show a narrow peak with mass and full width of (1497.4 ± 3.0 ± 0.9)MeV/c2 and (47 ± 12 ± 4)MeV/c2, respectively, where the first (second) errors are statistical (systematic). For 5-body decays, mass projections are similar to phase space expectations. All results are preliminary.

The authors present preliminary results of the analysis B[yields] h[pi][sup 0] and B[yields] hK[sup 0] decays (with h=[pi][sup[+-]], K[sup[+-]]) from a sample of approximately 60 million B[bar B] pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. They find evidence for a signal in B[sup+][yields][pi][sup+][pi][sup 0], and they measure the branching fraction[Beta](B[sup+][yields][pi][sup+][pi][sup 0])= (4.1[sub -1.0][sup+1.1][+-] 0.8) x 10[sup -6].
